Jaipur,09/07: MGM Minerals Ltd , Iron ore mines at village Patabeda of Sundargarh district gets 5 star rating by Ministry of Coal and Mines among 7 mines from Odisha. Chairman of MGM Minerals Ltd Pankaj Lochan Mohanty receives the award from Union coal and mines minister G Kisan Reddy. The felicitation ceremony was held at Rajasthan International Centre, Jaipur, where 95 mines were awarded. With many from the cement and limestone sector . The 5-star rating is awarded to mines scoring 91–100% in the evaluation, representing the best performers in sustainable and responsible mining. Among others Sanjay Lohiya, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Mines, Government of India, Piyush Narayan Sharma, Controller General, Indian Bureau of Mines, T. Ravikant, Principal Secretary, Petroleum & Mines, Government of Rajasthan were also present.
